BREEAM (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method) is the world’s leading and most widely used environmental assessment method for sustainable buildings. It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design. 

BREEAM assessments can be delivered by Aedis via our accredited assessors.

A BREEAM environmental assessment provides an overall impact assessment for a building based on a number of key factors such as:

Typically, BREEAMs are required by planners and developers, businesses and property agents.

BREEAM buildings bring environmental, economic and social benefits to the building user and are rated as Pass, Good, Very Good, Excellent or Outstanding.

Our team has considerable experience of delivering BREEAM projects, providing advice and assessment services from early planning phases of the design and procurement process through to a completion review. With qualified assessors and this pragmatic approach we can identify and solve issues at the earliest and most cost effective point.

Our BREEAM and Code for Sustainability services are offered independently where we are purely BREEAM/Code advisers, or where we are already acting as building surveyors and can offer this additional in-house service.
