Aedis - The Company and its Goals

Aedis was founded in 2008 by Directors Steven Spence, Alan Barraclough and Joe Ayre. With over 60 years experience in Building Inspection / Control between them, they can draw on on a wealth of knowledge and experience across public and private sectors.

We officially opened for business on the 1^st June 2008 with offices in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Aske, North Yorkshire. Due to an overwhelming requirement for our Building Control, Energy and Environmental Assessments (domestic and commercial) Fire Safety and Project services, additional offices are now staffed in London, Chichester, Coventry, Northampton, Warrington, Leeds, Cardiff and Bolton. We also have site inspectors working from satellite locations to ensure we deliver the service we promise.

Our goal is always to provide a professional, 'localised' and personalised service. Aedis clients work alongside a fully qualified, local Building Surveyor who if needed can be on hand to meet up and offer 'face-to-face' advice and guidance. The local team provide a single point of contact, utilising their experience and relationships within the local Planning, Inspection and Building Control bodies to makes things happen.

With Aedis clients are not passed aside within internal departments so you can be assured that we are always fully up to speed and in tune with your project requirements and as we are 'in your area', we can be on site quickly to prevent unnecessary costs and delays.
